Justine Eva Smith is a multidisciplinary artist living in Hamilton Ontario, who studied Integrated Media/ Drawing & Painting at OCAD University, and Visual Arts at Sheridan College.

Justine works often in traditional mediums such as oil painting, and drawing, while at times, exploring ways to integrate movement through the use of time-based technologies. As a well-seasoned musician, performing in numerous metal bands and experimental music projects in the GTA, Justine involves sonic elements within artistic contexts and continues to write and record music. Justine has collaborated with FAWN Chamber Creative Artistic Director, Amanda Smith, on a performance-based art installation for Tafelmusik’s Haus Musik series, and contributed an immersive activation and video projection to accompany the performances of three prolific creators, artist Xuan Ye 叶轩, and composers Adam Scime and Emilie LeBel. Justine has also worked in media festivals such as The Common Pulse & Electric Eclectics, and more recently worked with the Toronto Downtown West BIA on the implementation of ArtWalk - an award-winning mobile augmented reality and audio tour experience.
