Common Pulse Festival & Symposium, 2011

Research Assistant & part of the organizing team

COMMON PULSE, a partnership between OCAD University and the Durham Art Gallery, hosted a three-day symposium featuring twelve artists and curators who presented their research-driven artworks. The event fostered dialogue on digital media's impact on contemporary art, exploring themes such as file-sharing's effect on authorship, collaborative initiatives like citizen journalism and wiki culture, and the role of artist-led research labs in digital media art practice.
